Winter Skies Photo Contest

Keep your eye on the sky and your camera handy and you might win a nice prize.  
 
We want to see your photographs of winter skies.  Maybe you're an early riser and can wow us with your rendering of a crisp January sunrise.   Perhaps you spend a lot of time at the lake and have the perfect spot to capture a sunset over the water.  Or you may look up and see one of those wild and unusual cloud formations that float into viewer on a chilly and windy afternoon.
 
The contest runs through the end of January. The winner will receive a signed package of my five CDs and one DVD.

I get goosebumps every day as I scan the latest contest entries. These are some spectacular images. BTW, today's sky lends itself to some nice photography.

Bill - These shots are so beautiful! I was raised about 20 miles away from the area your pictures were shot. It was always my favorite area of the Blue Ridge Parkway. I've lived in Eastern NC now for about 17 yrs., but my heart will always be in the mountains.

Bill, this is just not right. You compose haunting music, you perform songs like a pro, you write copy that turns magical phrases, you speak well in public, and now, you take award-worthy photography. Somehow it seems unfair that God packed so much talent into one man!

Beautiful slideshow, Bill! This really is the best time of the year to me. I wish I'd had my camera with me Monday night - the sunset over the Pamlico River was as spectacular as I've ever seen it. There was something about the light that was unusual. Maybe tonight will be good too - and I'll have my camera then!
