Scenario Game

Posted August 14, 2007

You have been asked to host a dinner party for the governor. He wants your best recipe. He also wants two other interesting dinner guests.

What will you serve?  Who will you invite?  What things will you plan to surprise and delight your guests?

Have fun with this. By the way, thanks for all of the terrific trivia questions.

Packandcanesfan and Tennispro - I appreciate the warm invitation! The company and menu sound superb! I think I can convince the governor to do some Mayberry impersonations. He has a great sense of humor.

Bill, I thought about inviting Mike Nifong and the Dean of Duke, but then I would have to serve bar-b-que and "Crow," and I just don't know how to prepare that. Sorry!

I would invite Leonard Washington and Ashy Larry from Marcy Projects---we would goto Bojangles and get some grub---then head back to play some dice---he once rolled 77 7's in a row-----then we woudl take the governor over to Prince's house and play some basketball with the Revolution--then after the b-ball game , Prince would cook us some of his fabulous pancakes. Then if the governor was game ,we would all take him to the Playas Ball to me the Don Magic Wand and Buck Nasty, 2 of the most world renowned pimps of all time

I would serve up homemade Chicken Pastry, turnip greens, southern cornbread, iced tea and for dessert... a fresh peach cobbler. As for the two guests, hmmmm... his wife, Mary and my husband. If I could have two others along it would be a farmer and an elderly person who relies on nothing but Social Security to get by. As for the surprise... I would still feed my dog from the table!

I would invite Charlie Rose and Bill Leslie! Charlie is from my hometown, and I loved his parents. My dinner would be steaks on teh grill, baked potatoes, and salad. dessert would be Key Lime Pie!

I would whip up a batch of my meat sause and have spaghetti with meatballs. I would invite over Walter Williams to give Sleazly an extensive test on economics and the Marquis de Sade to torture the Sleaze for every wrong answer he gave. Then we would find a new governor because old Mikey-boy would be in so much pain from those wrong answers he gave that he couldn't serve anymore.

From a state worker that has been subject to Gov. Sleazely's budget for almost 7 years now, He'd be lucky to get a PB&J sandwich at my place. I wouldn't invite anyone over either, I'd be embarrased for any of my state coworkers to know he had been in my house.

What would you personally ask the governor?

    What games would you play?
