Bill Leslie's Carolina Conversations

Vote for Blog Name Change

Posted June 6, 2007

What a wealth of wordsmiths we have on this blog! I received nearly 200 different suggestions from you through email and this forum for the new name of this blog. I narrowed the list to 25 and with the help of a select group of consultants have whittled the list even further.

Please vote for your favorite. I will appreciate and honor your opinion.

Again, thanks for the recommendations. There were so many good ones!

The person with the winning entry will receive a package of my five CDs and Peaceful Journey DVD.

Vote for one of the following blog names. We will cut off the voting at midnight.  If none of these work for you we could always try "Honeysuckle and Grits!"

Carolina Conversations (good because it implies an ongoing discussion of many voices)

Carolina Adventures (good because it sounds like a lot of fun and that is our mission)

Carolina Journey (good because it captures the essence of the blog)

Spirit of Carolina (good because it touches all things past, present and future about NC)

Carolina Neighbors (good because it describes our bond and mutual respect)

    Carolina Journey

one comment- Carolina conversations is nice but sounds a bit static to me and this blog seems more doing and conversation mixed.

I already voted for one of the official entrants but I already said I favored the unofficial entry of Honeysuckle and Grits. Of course, Bill came up with that one by fate. And he originally said the winner would be announced on Monday and that was the title of Monday's blog, right?

I would like to do a write-in campaign for "Honeysuckle and Grits". It is downhome, warm, welcoming and shows spirit! Let's hear it folks!!!
