NC's Prettiest Towns

Published: 2012-07-12 09:58:00

What are the five prettiest towns in North Carolina? What towns are easy on the eyes due to the lay of the land, beautiful trees, pleasing architecture and other factors?

I would vote for Beaufort, Edenton, Pinehurst, Blowing Rock and Morganton. Please don't let me influence you. There could be others that are more worthy.

We will take the top five vote getters and feature them next week on Hometown Hello broadcast t 7:10AM and 8:10AM on Fox 50.

Tarboro, Washington, Wake Forest, New Bern & Asheville.

Ashville and Blowing Rock

Spring Lake (in the rear view mirror).

Moncure!!

I would say Hendersonville,NC would be one of the prettiest, if not the prettiest in NC!

Southport gets my vote!!

Maybe I'm a little biased, since it's my home town, but I think the waterfront in Little Washington is among the prettiest spots in NC.

Downtown New Bern, Black Mountain and Southport are pretty towns.

Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Manteo, Beaufort, Edenton.

Some of it depends on what part of town you are in. That being said, I would certainly agree with Edenton & Blowing Rock. Southport is another scenic town, as is Bath.

Wake Forest, N.C. , Tarboro N.C. Ashville,N.C. Cary N.C. Matthews, N.C.

I think the following towns are pretty and unique in their own way: 1) Tarboro 2)Farmville 3)Banner Elk 4)Bryson City, and 5)Asheville (no particular order)
