With less than friendly weather this weekend our getaway targets the cozy confines of the historic Carolina Theatre in Durham. Welcome to Realitywood! The Full Frame Documentary Festival celebrates the power and artistry of documentary film. And the weather is a big part of this year’s event. Nine documentaries on Hurricane Katrina will be featured. This is the eighth year of the festival which is now recognized as the premier documentary film event in the United States. The morning to midnight sessions began Thursday and will continue through Sunday. You will be joined by filmmakers, industry executives and other interested members of the public. It is a wonderful chance to get involved in some stimulating conversations during panel discussions, seminars and question and answer sessions.
