Power of Words - Part 2

People don't write letters anymore. They text message, email and talk endlessly on the cell phone. Thelma Dawson of Raleigh is an exception. She sent me an old fashioned letter this week. It is one of the sweetest pieces of mail a guy could receive. Thelma told me she received my "Christmas in Carolina" CD as a gift last December. However, she and her 76 year old husband enjoyed listening to the music in the summer months. Thelma's husband recently passed away. She wrote: "During his last night of life I played your CD and Handel's Messiah continuously all night. It made his last hours pleasant, serene and loving." Those are beautiful and powerful words, Thelma. I am humbled and honored. Thank you!
