RALEIGH, N.C. — The Triangle’s oldest no-kill animal shelter is growing because there are more abandoned pets.
Second Chance Pet Adoption is moving into new space at the same complex where it is now on Chapel Hill Road in Raleigh.
The new facility will have more room for cats and will allow Second Chance Pet Adoption to hold bigger adopathons.
There will also be four large cat rooms where potential pet owners can interact with the animals and a separate dog-adoption area. Fitting up the space for Second Chance begins in May, and the center plans to move in July.
