It's been a year since I lost you and not a day goes by that I don't think of you.
I miss the welcome home that you would give me.
I know that I gave you a great life when I rescued you from the pound and you returned the love tenfold.
The squirrels around the house have gotten bold since you're not here to chase them. I know you and Buddy are having a ball in heaven and one day I'll meet you again.
