Hi Folks!
I've had a good week, how 'bout you? I went to see Dr. Jodi at Harmony Animal Hospital and she saw my hips and legs with her x-ray vision and guess what? She says I'm perfect! Yay me!!! I don’t remember much about what she did, but Mom saw the pictures and she says I have great bone structure. Hmmmm…was there any doubt? Haha! So, I’m good to go to continue my training and I’m so glad cause I sure do like running and jumping and turning. It keeps me moving and gets me yummy treats! They took real good care of me at Dr. Jodi’s office and even cut my nails nice and short. Now maybe Mom won’t be so worried about me scratching up the floor when Dad throws the ball for me in the house. Nobody gets to play ball in the house ‘cept me…cause I’m special. Haha, not really, but Dad says it keeps me occupied. I fetch really really good. You know the drill…anything for a treat! And if nobody wants to play with me, I grab stuff and act up and then, voila! I get a bully stick to chew on. I love those things. They don’t hurt my tummy at all. And I’ve been a pretty good boy lately, so I should get a treat! Well, there was that little incident when I grabbed some cooked chicken off the counter when Mommy wasn’t looking. She got upset, not so much cause I grabbed the chicken, but because I swallowed the whole piece without chewing and she thought I might choke. Then when she was sure I wasn’t going to choke, she didn’t look too happy. My face said, “Hey Mom! I’m OK! You can be happy now!” Uh, no…that didn’t work. And come to find out…she was cutting up the chicken for me anyway. Hey, I didn’t know! I saw a chance and took it. I just couldn’t resist the smell. I also can’t resist dangly things or sparkly things. I found something sparkly on the floor this morning and started chewing on it. Mom heard me crunching and got this horrified look on her face. [AGAIN] She “traded” me a treat for it…something called a bracelet. Hey! I didn’t take it! I found it on the floor! And she can have it cause it didn’t taste good at all. So, other than those things, and well OK, maybe a couple of other teeny tiny small incidents, I’ve been a good boy. I need to behave myself cause Mom says if I’m good, I can be in the Raleigh Christmas Parade. Woo hoo! I’ve never been in a parade! Shoot, I’ve never even seen a parade. So, I’m not sure what it’s all about, but I can’t wait to find out. Wish me luck in being good cause I’m sure gonna need it. LOL!
Later!
