Miss Fifi had the honor of talking with "the adorable duo," Mia and her little human Ava, who belong to Julie and Fred Malinofski of Cary. 

"Mia is a wonderful, caring dog," said Julie. "She enjoys playing with her soccer ball, riding in the boat at the lake, and playing tug-o-war." 

Mis is a little over a year old, and is a very responsible pup. "She's a great babysitter," Fred said, "and the other day when we were watching a movie, a baby cried in the movie and Mia got up and went into the nursery to check on baby Ava." 

Julie concurred, saying, "She is so great with Ava. If she cries, Mia will come and get either me or Fred and let us know." 

Well, woof! Mia sounds like the perfect canine citizen, which is no surprise. Congratulations, Mia!
