"King and Queen of the Hill."
That's what last week's pet photo of the week humans call the rambunctious RJ and Emma, eleven week old siblings who live and play in Nahunta with Tina and Gary Whichard. Apparently, the Whichards have spoiled RJ and Emma rotten.
"They literally spend their day eating, sleeping, and playing. They run around on nearly five acres of land and every day they get
a little more adventures and curious," said Devon, their human sister. "They love digging around and investigating new things. Being the teething puppies that they are, they will chew on nearly anything they can get their little teeth on: furniture, phone books, hands, hair, toys, and shoes, especially Daddy's work boots."
Devon's a senior at NCSU (GO Pack!), and like her fellow Wolfpack geniuses, she spoils RJ and Emma with toys and gourmet doggie treats, and they have a special affinity for a stuffed squeaky turkey. "When they aren't playing with their toys, they can be found running and playing on two large mounds of dirt in the back yard," said Devon. "The mounds are nearly five feet high so they enjoy getting on top and being 'King and Queen of the Hill'. They are growing as fast as weeds, and are definitely the pride and joy of their parents. We
love them to death. They are the most precious and cutest puppies ever!"
