Miss Fifi loves a good story, and last week's Pet Photo of the Week winners have certainly held my attention.
Little Tiger the cat showed up on the doorstep one day at the home of Jamie, Tim and Garrett Mitchell. "I wondered how it was going to work with our rottie, Jazz," said Jamie. "At first, Jazz wanted to play, but Tiger was scared to death and she ran off all the time."
But, neither animal being ignorant, became real close when it started to get cold. "I opened the door one morning to go out," Jamie said, "and there they were in the chair, asleep together. Tiger really sleeps on her back every night. Jazz took Tiger under her wing, and they are the best of friends now. You don't see one without the other."
I suppose ... in the efforts of preserving body heat and operating in survival mode ... that it would be okay to snuggle with a cat. But don't tell Dilettante Dilly I said that.
Thanks Mitchell family!
Woof.
