Question:
My boxer dog limps on his right hind leg. It seems to be getting worse. We don't know if he injured his hind leg or not. Could you possibly tell me what could possible be the problem?
A: I would recommend taking your dog to see a veterinarian as soon as possible.
Sometimes a dog may injure his/her leg without us knowing. A ligament injury can occur with a trip or fall and a slight turn of the leg. I would recommend having your dog examined by a veterinarian to make sure he/she hasn't injured a ligament or tendon. A fracture or break in the bone can also cause a limp. Schedule an appointment with a veterinarian to have your dog's leg looked at as soon as possible.
