I wish that we had a "Safety" category on the Networx blog. The LA Times reported that today a Los Angeles landscaper was killed today in an on-the-job accident. The professional tree trimmer was trapped beneath massive palm fronds. The cause of death has yet to be determned, but the spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department said that in accidents like these, the fronds can weigh as much as half a ton. Our condolences go out to the loved ones of the tree worker, and we'd like to remind all of you that trimming trees looks less dangerous than it is. Please use caution.
