A new status of excellence and luxury

Shopping in the Triangle has reached a new status of excellence, transforming an ordinary trip to the mall into a luxurious shopping experience. Modern complexes provide clientele with unique places to gather with family and friends, shop specialty boutiques, dine in a café, work out at a gym, or spend the day at a spa. And well-known retailers, such as Sax Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom, give shoppers access to the latest fashions and trends—and to more than just a little pampering.

These new complexes are lifestyle-oriented hybrid malls—enclosed shopping malls adjacent to exterior centers of free-standing stores and restaurants. Clustered around open-air plazas, these centers provide a sophisticated marketplace ambiance.

The Triangle is now home to three such developments with upscale stores, restaurants, movie theaters, and office and residential space—North Hills in Raleigh, the Triangle Town Center & Commons in Raleigh, and The Streets at Southpoint and Main Street in Durham.

North Hills

Splurge at one of North Hills’ chic boutiques or let the Natural Day Spa & Shoppe give you more than just a soothing manicure and pedicure. Treat yourself to an exquisite massage, facial or body treatment, all provided with natural products you can enjoy at home.

North Hills is a stylish “Midtown” shopping district located on Six Forks and Lassiter Mill roads. Also featuring restaurants, a world-class athletic club and a movie complex, North Hills is anchored by Target and J.C. Penny.

North Hills has been called “Raleigh’s version of Madison Avenue,” where you’ll find a unique collection of restaurants and specialty shops offering luxurious linens, designer fashions, antiques, savvy shoes and more. Once completed, The Lassister of North Hills will offer exclusive condominiums.

Triangle Town Center & Commons

North Carolina’s only Saks Fifth Avenue can be found at The Triangle Town Center in an exquisite two-level store, featuring the designer names that have made Saks famous. Considered the ultimate in exclusive shopping, Saks provides luxurious sitting areas; dressing areas with TVs, refrigerators and wet bars; and a jewelry department with a private viewing room. At your service, the concierge can reserve appointments for a personal shopper, private shopping hours, a makeover and reservations at your favorite restaurant or theater.

Located on Capital Blvd. and I-540, the Triangle Town Center also includes Belk, Dillard’s, Hecht’s and Sears, as well as 125 specialty shops and restaurants. Triangle Town Commons has a variety of restaurants and shops, including exclusive specialty retailers such as Bed Bath & Beyond, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Orvis.

The Streets at Southpoint and Main Street

The Streets at Southpoint is home to North Carolina’s first Nordstrom department store, known for its exclusive selection of clothing, accessories, shoes and cosmetics. Take note of the store’s live piano music, a complimentary wardrobe service and the scrumptious Café Bistro.

The Streets at Southpoint, located off I-40, also features Hecht’s, Belk, Sears and J.C. Penny, as well as new retailers, including Coldwater Creek and Pottery Barn Kids. The outdoor Main Street was designed to resemble a traditional, American main street and features a group of small buildings lining pedestrian-friendly streets. The area is anchored by a 16-screen theater and other specialty shops and restaurants.

The Triangle has more to offer than ever before, enjoying unprecedented access to the area’s finest selection of clothing and accessories, home furnishings, personalized services, elegant restaurants and more. Be the center of attention and enjoy a fabulous quality of life that’s waiting just for you.
