Easter's early this year, which was a bit of a bummer from the Easter Lily perspective ... they're just not as lovely as they are later in April. But all the same, I thought I'd share some images of these lovely lilies.
From my downstairs office, as I watch my son running through the grass with our eight month old Beagle, Magnolia May, my heart is warmed by the sound of his laughter and joy. And I find that I'm so very thankful for the season, and for our lives. I pray for our soldiers on foreign soil, and for those who've returned home healthy and whole ... and those where not so fortunate.
So regardless of what your family is celebrating today, have a peaceful day. Get out in the sun and enjoy the weather, and be thankful on this spectacularly beautiful day. Raise your face to the sun, feel the breeze in your hair, and smile at those you love.
Happy Easter.
