Terri Dollar of Kids Unlimited Talent Agency has been offering tips for parents and kids who are interested in becoming professional actors. Check the box to the left for her previous tips.

Last week, she offered some advice on how to find an agent. This week, she talks about what to do once you've landed one.

Her main piece of advice: "You really have to follow their instructions," she tells me. Parents also need to start thinking about how to prepare their kids for auditions and be prepared for them themselves. There's often no more than 24 hours notice when an audition opportunity comes along.

"You'll have to be able to turn around on a dime," she tells me.
