Terri Dollar, a Raleigh mom and owner of Kids Unlimited Talent Agency, is back today with another tip for parents of kids who are interested in a career in the entertainment business.

Dollar has acted all her life, taught acting, helped her own daughters follow their acting dreams and has been in the business for 40 years. For the next few weeks here on Go Ask Mom, she is offering some great tips on how to help your child follow their dreams and stay away from some of the scams out there. Today, Dollar talks about who needs a talent agent; whether a child needs professional head shots and acting lessons; and whether you should ever pay an agent up front.
