Quail Ridge Books and Music in Raleigh has some events for teens in the next few weeks.

Here's what's coming up:

Author Ransom Riggs visits with the book "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children," a mixed media dark fantasy geared to adults and teens. Riggs will visit Quail Ridge at 3 p.m. July 31. For ages 12 and up.

Young adult author Maggie Stiefvater will present "Forever," the conclusion to her No. 1 bestselling Shiver trilogy at 5 p.m. Aug. 2. For ages 12 and up.

And September will be a busy month at Quail Ridge with lots of author visits, including five for kids (they include Herman Parish, who has continued his aunt's very popular Amelia Bedelia series).
