More opportunities to rock it Harry Potter style next week

Posted June 29, 2011

I wrote earlier this week about the Harry Potter happenings at Cameron Village Library next week. There's more.

Eva Perry Regional Library in Apex will be wrocking it wizard style from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 10. The library's fourth annual wizard wrock concert with songs about the Harry Potter series will feature veteran wrockers Whomping Willows, Lauren Fairweather, Justin Finch-Fletchley, and the Blibbering Humdingers. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. It's for all ages and free.

And on July 9, the library will host a Harry Potter wand craft. It's at 10:30 a.m. for kids in grades three to five and 2 p.m. for kids in grades 6 to 12. Registration is required. Call 919-387-2100.

Read my earlier post for details on what's planned at Cameron Village.
