Final American Dance Festival matinee for kids this Saturday

The final American Dance Festival matinee for kids this season is this Saturday and will feature the Paul Taylor Dance Co., one of the world's most sought-after ensembles. The Taylor Company has performed in more than 520 cities in 62 countries.

The hour-long performance is 1 p.m. Saturday at the Durham Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $17.

There's a kids' party after the performance from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m on the DPAC's plaza. There will be a variety of activities including hula hoops, juggling, live drumming, healthy snacks, cupcakes from Daisy Cakes and more.
