I love summer but I hate working out in the heat!
With the warmer weather, I am trying to come up with ways to shake up my workout while not passing out from the heat.
I’m doing my first 5K this weekend – the Triangle Komen Race for the Cure. My husband and I have been walking and jogging in preparation for this, but I doubt I’ll be able to jog the entire time. I’m no Kelcey Carlson!
Besides jogging, how do you stay fit outdoors this summer?
And for the moms, how do you keep your children active over the summer?
When I was little, I spent most of the time inside playing video games and enjoying the air conditioning. My only outdoor exercise was swimming, which I wasn’t too great at. I basically just doggy paddled my way from one end of the pool to the other!
