Makeover at Glam Lounge

Congratulations to our winners!! They are:

Grand Prize winner: Brittney Switala-HisRadio

Runner-up: Danielle Allison

Third Place: krisyork

Well, it's been a great May! And we're wrapping up our Month of Mom with a big prize - a makeover for a lucky Go Ask Mom reader!

We have some great prizes for three winners. Here are the details:

The Grand Prize

Our winner will win a makeover that includes hair and makeup from the talented women at Glam Lounge in Raleigh. The lucky winner will receive a makeover complete with hair and makeup and the royal treatment all around.

To see what Glam does, check out the makeover of Go Ask Mom's Mom of Teens blogger Mari Taylor. Here's her before and after shot.

But that's not all for our grand prize winner! Style and self-image expert, Michele Little of, also will show our makeover winner how to get more mileage from what she already has. Michele will take existing items from the winner's closet and put them together in new ways to get maximum versatility and more bang for her buck. From there, Michele will accompany our makeover winner to local boutique, Dress, to discover how adding a few accessories can transform even the most basic look into something special.

And Dress, the women's designer consignment boutique with a great selection of high-end clothing, bags and shoes in the Glenwood South area of Raleigh, will provide a $40 gift certificate for the winner.

The grand prize winner's makeover will be featured on Go Ask Mom.

The Runner-Up

Our second winner will win the GLAMhaircare RX, a custom package of GLAM, the hair care line developed by Glam Lounge, plus a private consult. That's a $100 value.

The Third Prize

And a third winner will take home the GLAM Mom Survival Kit, which includes a variety of hair care products in a cute bag. That's a $50 value.

What do you need to do to enter to win? One or both of the following:

2. And for those of you who aren't on Facebook or who already are fans of our Facebook page, you can enter right here on Go Ask Mom. Just answer the following question in the comments section at the bottom of this post. Here's the question: How would you describe your style?

How would I describe my style? I guess "classic." I am not really one to try new trends right away... I usually try them just before they aren't trends anymore. lol I like things simple, clean and understated.

My style? Relaxed Business Casual. I have a 2-year old and I work full-time. No makeup, Flat hair, business casual clothes. :| If I had to use one word to describe it, I'd have to say, "blah."

I have three boys so my life is very busy and often times hectic. I usually wear whatever is most comfortable. My hair could use some styling as I typically pull it up in a ponytail.
