Lynda Loveland: You put what, where?

I’m always after my kids to clean up after themselves. Clean up what you’re playing with before you move on to the next thing.

It sounds easy enough … on paper. Well, my kids are getting better, but stuff’s showing up in unusual places.

Take, for instance, last night. I went down to the refrigerator in the garage to put away an extra milk. When I opened the fridge door, I noticed a roll of scotch tape on one of the shelves on the door. Instead of a condiment, there was tape.

Would you like ketchup, mustard or double sided tape on that hot dog? What in the world goes through a child’s mind (I’m assuming it was one of the kids) to think the fridge was a good place to store office supplies?

Although I’ve gotta admit. I remember one time I tried to put the milk in the cabinet with the sugar and flour.
