Born to Be Wild 3D, a new IMAX movie following young orphaned elephants and orangutans, opens at the Wachovia IMAX Theatre at Marbles Kids Museum on Friday.
The movie, narrated by actor Morgan Freeman, documents the people who rescue and raise the animals. The movie takes viewers around the world to Kenya and Borneo. The 40-minute movie is rated G.
As part of the opening, Marbles is teaming up with the N.C. Zoo with special programs at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Friday.
And they're sharing the fun with Go Ask Mom readers! I have three family four packs to give away - each pack includes four tickets to an IMAX movie at Marbles and four tickets to the N.C. Zoo!!
What do you need to do to enter to win? There are a couple of ways:
1. We'll be giving two packs away to people who like the WRAL Go Ask Mom Facebook page between 2:15 p.m. April 5 and 8 p.m. April 7. The winners will be picked randomly from all people who like the page during that time. Facebook winners will be announced on Go Ask Mom's Facebook page by 10 p.m. April 7.
2. And, again, because I know lots of you have already liked our Facebook page (thank you!!), you can also be in the running to win one four pack by answering this question in the comments by 8 p.m. April 7. The winner will be picked at random from all entries and the user name will be posted here by 10 p.m. April 7. Here's the question: How closely does your home resemble a zoo?
The winners must respond by noon April 11 or runner-ups will be selected. Good luck!
