Just wanted to share that Zoe's Kitchen at Raleigh's North Hills will host "Squash the Stigma," a benefit for Postpartum Education and Support, a Triangle-based nonprofit dedicated to the emotional wellness of moms.

Zoe's, at 141-112 Park at North Hills St., will donate 15 percent of sales by customers who mention Postpartum Education and Support while ordering their meals from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. March 15. There also will be some raffle drawings for prizes such as a Tweetsie Railroad family ticket package, Itsy Bitsy Baby Spa gift certificates and Triangle Rock Club climbing lessons. The drawing takes place at 8:30 p.m. that night.

Postpartum Education and Support is a great local resource for moms. It offers support for mothers and their families, including weekly peer-led support group meetings, and resources for healthcare providers. The group also is working to raise public awarness of perinatal mood disorders such as postpartum depression or anxiety.
