Consignment sales set for Fuquay-Varina, Durham, Raleigh this week

Here's your weekly consignment sale reminder.

We're in the thick of consignment sale season ... we've got three this week.

They include Just 4 Kids in Fuquay-Varina. It is open to the public 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday at Life Spring Community Church in Fuquay-Varina.

Last week, I featured the moms who started this sale. They are seeking donations for a couple of community projects - old magazines, books, coloring books, crayons and other materials for the waiting rooms at Duke University's oncology floor. They also are asking their consignors and shoppers to have their kids make cards to take to the elderly in a local assisted living center.

The sale will offer free child care during some hours of the sale. Check my earlier post for more information and the times.

Also this weekend is Wings Consignment sale at Hollands United Methodist Church in Raleigh. The public sale hours are 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The sale takes an hour break between noon and 1 p.m. Some items are half off during the afternoon sale.

And the Chapel Hill/Durham Mothers of Multiples spring yard sale is from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. It's at a new location this year- Yates Baptist Church at 2819 Chapel Hill Rd. in Durham.
