Polar Ice House in Wake Forest will be offering a figure skating clinic on Monday for kids who already are comfortable on the ice.

Skaters must have basic level skills. During the four-hour clinic, they'll learn power and skill lessons so they can move on to more advanced figure skating moves. The clinic is 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday (that's Presidents' Day). The fee for each skater is $60 and registration is required. Contact Scott Cudmore at scott.cudmore@polaricehouse.com to register or sign up at the Wake Forest location.
Polar Ice House offers skating classes for all ages and abilities starting with Mice on Ice for kids ages 3 to 6. Sessions start on March 7. Early registration for those classes also is recommended. Check Polar Ice House's website for details.
