Mix 101.5 WRAL-FM's annual Duke Children's radiothon runs Tuesday through Thursday this week.
This is Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center's largest single fundraising event each year. The money donated through the radiothon benefits children's programs and supports the medical and surgical programs at Duke Children's. During the radiothon, Lynda Loveland and others from Mix 101.5 will be sharing some pretty amazing stories from parents and patients at Duke Children's.
We'll be sharing some right here on Go Ask Mom too, along with a special blog post from Lynda on Tuesday and more from her on Thursday.
I know it's been a rough few years for many of you out there. But if you're able, please consider supporting this effort. Just a few dollars (and even cents as part of the radiothon's Piggy Bank Day on Thursday) can make a difference.
