Poll: How will you celebrate Valentine's Day?

Posted February 12, 2011

Valentine's Day isn't a huge day in our house.

Everybody will get a treat of some kind and some homemade cards. We'll have a special dinner. I'm thinking about making berry crisp. But that's about it.

How will you celebrate? Vote in our poll!

A fabulous night out.
The Valentine's Day usual ... chocolate, flowers, etc.
Homemade cards from the kids is all I need.
Five minutes peace ... I hope.

Thoughts on Gigi's for what it's worth .... too much focus on frosting, not enough on cake quality ... though I'm still more than happy to eat the leftovers. :)

My daughter and granddaughter are baking a cake today which we will all share tonight.

So much for making the berry crisp ... I got some very yummy looking cupcakes from Gigi's Cupcakes this morning. They look really good ... anybody had them before?

What's there to celebrate? I celebrate the love year round.

We will have heart shaped pancakes for breakfast and heart shaped sandwiches for lunch. Then later we will have a special dinner at home with our two children with heart shaped desert.
Homemade valentines will be distributed and each child gets a little something. Then we will spend some time together watching
a movie on TV. Basically we spend a quiet evening at home, but we make sure that everyone in our family gets the reminder that they are well loved.

A solo trip to Target sounds very nice :)

I voted for peace. A solo trip to Target would be great! We'll probably do something as a family tomorrow, though.
