I can't believe it myself, but Go Ask Mom is turning one in a couple of weeks! We've got all kinds of exciting plans for the next year which you'll start hearing about very shortly. Can't wait!

To celebrate this momentous occasion, I'd like to treat some Go Ask Mom readers out to dinner because I'm pretty sure almost every mom out there could use a night off from cooking and dishes.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be giving gift certificates to some Triangle area restaurants. And today we're starting out with $25 gift certificates to Dickey's Barbecue Pit's Durham, Cary and Raleigh locations! (And don't forget, kids 12 and under eat free at each of these locations on Sundays with the purchase of an adult meal)!

I've got three certificates to give away!

What do you need to do to enter? One or both of the following:

1. Follow WRALmoms on Twitter and retweet about the contest.

2. Answer the following question in the comments: How many nights do you cook and eat dinner at home?

This contest ends at noon Jan. 24. Three winners will be picked at random from all entries. The winners' user names will be posted on this post by 9 p.m. Jan. 24 and an email will be sent to each of them. The winners must respond by noon Jan. 27 or a runner-up will be selected. Good luck!

And the winners are: jcook2, mkjinx and jrwachholz! Congratulations! I just emailed you. Get back to me as soon as you can!

I cook 6-7 nights at home. We rarely eat out...maybe once or twice a month. It's just gotten too expensive for a family our size!

I have been cooking supper every nite. I am the only one currently working. We can't afford to go out. We might treat ourselves to the dollar menu once a month. Thanks for the blog. I am a Grandmother that loves it

I cook and eat at home 7 nights per week, except 1 time per month when we treat ourselves and go out. With gas prices higher, restaurants charging more and no raise in 3 years, not alot left over in the budget for eating out.

I cook and eat dinner at home most nights, about 4.

With 3 kids ages 4 and under I seem to spend quite a bit of time in the kitchen. We may eat out once a week.

I feel like i live in the kitchen, especially on the weekends! We eat here at home most nights and go out maybe twice a month. I wish it was more that's for sure!

I have a 3 year old son that I have to put to bed pretty early. I spend a nice amount of time commuting to and from work so don't have a lot of time to cook. With that being said I try to cook 4 meals a week depending on what I have to do after work.

Any good slow cooker recipes anyone?
