Preschool, mother's morning out registration starts soon

Parents who feel guilty sending their children to day care can take relief from new medical research. Doctors found that daycare can help strengthen children's immunity to diseases.

Registration for preschools and mother's morning out programs for the next school year starts very soon. If you're in the market for either, now is the time to start looking and signing up.

I'm hoping to have more about preschools on the site in the next months (hopefully weeks). But for now, I'm happy to have this be a place where preschools can list their tours and registration information.

So please share all your information in the comments.

I do know that Kirk Children's Center in Cary will have tours at 10 a.m. Jan. 13, Jan. 14, Jan. 20 and Jan. 21. Feel free to call for more information at 469-4895 or email at The preschool will be accepting registration forms starting Jan. 13.

And Hillel Preschool on Falls of Neuse Road in Raleigh will have an open house at 2 p.m. Feb. 6.
