Valentine's Day is coming up. And that means it's time to sign your guy and your girl up for a daddy-daughter dance.

There are a few in the area and most of them sell out pretty quickly. Here are the details:

Cary's Annual Daddy-Daughter Dance is for daughters ages 4 to 14 and their dads on Feb. 5 at the Cary Senior Center, 120 Mary O'Dell Place. Registration is required. It's $17 per resident and $22 per non-resident. The cost includes music, entertainment, refreshments and a photo of the daddy-daughter pair. Raleigh's Laurel Hills Community Center also hosts a night of dancing, refreshments and entertainment for dads and their daughters on Feb. 11. It's for all ages. Tickets are $15 per person for residents and $25 for non-residents and includes a flower for each daughter. Space is very limited. Call 919-420-2383.

And there's the Triangle Area Father Daughter Dance on Feb. 5 at Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh. Tickets start at $40 for a daddy-daughter pair and include dancing, entertainment, food and more.

And update ... here's another one: The Cary Ballet Company will host a daddy-daughter dance on Feb. 5. Tickets are $25 per couple, $10 for a second child and $5 for each additional child. Ticket includes dancing, refreshments, a party gift and more. Call 919-481-6509 for more information.

And more updates: DECA, an association of marketing students at Panther Creek High School, is hosting a daddy-daughter (or grandfather) dance to support the N.C. affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The dance for dad's or granddad's with daughters between the ages of 3 and 13 is 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 22 at Apex United Methodist Church. Tickets are $15 for dad and daughter with $5 for an additional daughter. There will be dancing, games, food and more (including maybe even some princesses who will sing). Orange County parks will hold a dance for dads and daughters ages 4 to 12 on Feb. 11 at the Robert and Pearl Seymour Center in Chapel Hill. It's $15 per person. Tickets include refreshments, music and a photo of the dad and daughter. Pre-registration is required. Click here for details.

Nash County will hold its fourth annual daddy-daughter dance at the Nash County Agriculture Center on Feb. 5. It's $20 per couple and $5 for each additional child. Girls must be in kindergarten through fifth grade with their dads or father figures. For details, call 252-462-2628. Pre-registration is required.

Not quite a daddy-daughter dance but the Chick-fil-A at North Hills will host a daddy daughter date night from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 15. There will be flowers for the daughter. Purchase an adult meal and receive a free kids meal and a free brownie a la mode to share. There will be pictures with the cow; conversation starters for dads and daughters; and more. Chick-fil-A Falls Village in north Raleigh will host a daddy-daughter date night on Feb. 10. And the Chick-fil-A Capital Crossing in north Raleigh will hold a daddy-daughter date night on Feb. 17. Seatings time are at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. for both nights. Limited seating is available so make reservations at mychickfila.com.

The Forever Fancy Daddy-Daughter Dance will be 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 13 at Hope Mills Shrine Club in Cumberland County. It's $25 per daddy-daughter couple and $10 for each additional daughter. Tickets include a DJ, professional photographer, a flower for the young lady, food and more. Tickets for this event will sell out. Check the website or call 910-476-0076 for a ticket stop near you.
