A local moms group is collecting new or gently used books as part of a holiday book drive.

Western Wake iMoms, a partnership with the National PTA, has joined with Parenting magazine's Mom Congress to support an early literacy support program that puts books into the hands of foster kids who are a part of the Methodist Home for Children.

The drive began Nov. 5. You can drop off books at Great Harvest Bread Company, 1220 NW Maynard Rd. in Cary or Huntington Learning Center, 1135 Kildaire Farm Rd. in Cary.

The campaign ends Dec. 11.
