Lynda Loveland: New addition

We’ve been watching and waiting for months and finally our new addition is here. She’s an eight-week-old Australian Shepherd/Cattledog mix named Bindi.

So this is the tally at our house: Two parents, three kids, two dogs, five guinea pigs and three goldfish. WOULD SOMEONE GET MY HEAD CHECKED!

I’ve had more than one person tell me I’m crazy these past few days. My husband accuses me of trying to bring my upbringing on the farm to Cary. Although he was all for getting the pup too. Man, is she a cutie. She’s been doing really well as far as house training and not crying all night.

I’ve been reading a book called “How to Raise a Puppy You Can Live With.” It’s a great book with fantastic advice. It should be called “How to Raise a Child You Can Live With”. There are a lot of similarities. We’re even using some of the same kid equipment for the pup. We have it corralled with “fencing” we used for the kids.

Now if I could only find some use for all those dang Mighty Beans and Silly Bandz!
