There's a new children's consignment sale in Tarboro.

Replay It Consignment Sales will launch its first sale next week from Oct. 8 to Oct. 10 at the Sullivan Building in Tarboro at the corner of Main and St. Johns streets.

The sale is family owned and operated by Renee Harrell and her husband Marshall, and aided by Renee's brother and sister-in-law and her parents. Renee works full time but hopes to transition into the consignment sale business so she can spend more time with her 4-year-old and 16-month-old boys, she tells me.

And she hopes to launch a sports equipment and sporting goods consignment sale in the near future, so stay tuned for more on that. (And after sending my daughter to soccer for the first time this fall and looking forward to T-ball in the spring, I think that's a great idea!)

The public sale next weekend is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 8; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 9; and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 10 when some items are half off.
