New natural sciences museum exhibit promises to be gross
Animal Grossology, adapted from the best-selling children's book series, explores everything from slime makers to vomit munchers. Gross.
Posted — UpdatedSo this one is for all those kids out there who can't stop laughing about poop and barf and gas. And we all know there are a lot of them out there.
The exhibit is adapted from the best-selling Grossology children's book series by author and science teacher Sylvia Branzei. Visitors will get to see, for instance, what happens when ticks and mosquitoes have too much to drink, a detailed look at the steps of digestion in cows and how dookies rely on poo for survival.
The exhibit runs through April 24. Tickets to Animal Grossology are $8 for adults; $5 for students and seniors; $4 for children (5–11); and free to Members. For more information or to purchase tickets, call the Museum Box Office at 919-733-7450, ext. 212.
I'm getting a look at the exhibit Friday (thankfully before lunch). So stay tuned for more.
