Registration open for Homeschool Day at natural sciences museum
Registration for the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences' popular Homeschool Day starts this week.

Registration for the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences' popular Homeschool Day is now open.
The Aug. 24 event features hands-on activities and an opportunity for parents to learn about special opportunities at the museum for homeschoolers. The fee is $4 per person (including parents). Kids 3 and under are free. Registered participants also can get a discount for admission to the museum's exhibit "Glow: Living Lights."
