Consignment sale season is really picking up starting this coming week with four sales scheduled.

They are:

The Divine Consign Show runs Tuesday through Thursday with early shopping hours for grandparents and first-time moms. It's at Falls Pointe Shopping Center on Falls of Neuse Road at its intersection with Durant Road. This is not your average consignment sale. Divine Consign features high-end used and new clothing from children's boutiques and trunk shows. You won't find a Carter's onesie here, but you will find outfits for that special occasion or more expensive duds for more affordable prices. And stay tuned for more on the Divine Consign Show and its owner Kelly Rives on Monday.
Upscale Resale runs Friday and Saturday (NOTE: This is updated to say Friday and Saturday ... not sure what I was thinking when I wrote the wrong days earlier) at the Cary Masonic Lodge, 1142 SE Maynard Rd. in Cary. Like Divine Consign, the sale also features only higher-end children's clothing. The sale has over 1,000 overstocks from a variety of brands, along with a lot of consignment. It also is launching a new section featuring trendy clothes for tweens and teens during this sale, which is a great idea.
Kidcycle, which moves between Orange and Durham counties, is at University Mall in Chapel Hill Friday through Sunday (Aug. 15). Dollar Day, when anything left is $1, is Aug. 21. The sale's owners, who started the sale earlier this year, also are seeking donations of diapers for needy families in Orange and Durham counties. This is a more traditional consignment sale with clothes of all kinds for infant to teen, along with maternity, toys and other gear.
And the Triangle Mothers of Twins and Triplet's Clothing and Equipment Consignment Sale is from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 14 at the Kerr Scott Building at the N.C. State Fairgrounds (which is near the entrance off Blue Ridge Road) in Raleigh. This also is a more traditional sale with great deals on clothes, toys, equipment, maternity and more. And a bonus: You'll often find two or three of the same outfit.
Of course, you can find the full list of 30-some consignment sales across the region on Go Ask Mom's handy consignment sale database.
