When it comes to entertainment for kids, it's hard to get much bigger than the three shows headed to Raleigh this week.

We have toddler and preschool favorite The Wiggles at the Progress Energy Center for Performing Arts. Then there is Dan Zanes, who is credited with starting the independent kids music craze and is seen on Playhouse Disney, at the N.C. Museum of Arts. And Curious George will be playing the RBC Center with a major live show.

Here are the details.

Curious George Live! will be at the RBC Center with four shows Aug. 13 to Aug. 15. That's 7 p.m. Aug. 13.; 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Aug. 14; and 2 p.m. Aug. 15. Tickets range from $15 to $35. Click here for more.
The Wiggles will present two shows of their "Wiggly Circus" at 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Progress Energy Center in downtown Raleigh. Tickets start at $11 and go up to $76. Click here for more.
Dan Zanes and Friends will perform as part of the art museum's summer concert series. The concert is at 4 p.m. Aug. 15. General admission tickets are $18; $9 for kids 3 to 12. Kids 2 and under are free. Zanes will be playing from his latest CD, "76 Trombones," which is his take on Broadway classics. But there will be plenty of his family music too. Click here for more.
