Win a Stroller Strides workout class pass!

I'm looking forward to Aug. 18 when Go Ask Mom will be partnering with North Hills and Stroller Strides Midtown Raleigh on a fun event with some giveaways, a contest for Durham Bulls tickets, a free (FREE!) Stroller Strides workout class, a fire truck and more!

It's part of North Hills' very popular North Hills Kids programs where they've offered activities for kids most weekday mornings this summer, including storytimes, puppet shows and big blocks to climb all over.

I hope to see you there from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 18! Read more about it in this post.

As part of it, I'm excited to launch this contest for two five classes passes to Stroller Strides at North Hills! If you're not familiar with Stroller Strides, this is a great workout for all fitness levels for you and your stroller-riding child. Missy Currin, the owner and mom of one, will take you through North Hills with stops for exercises (or calming the fussy baby).

I featured Missy a few months ago when she opened. So check the video.

But what do you need to do to win one of the two class passes? Answer the following question in the comments below:

How long did it take for you to lose that baby weight? Or are you holding on to it?

This contest ends at 5 p.m. Aug. 13. The winners' names will be listed in this post by 5 p.m. Aug. 14 and contacted by email. Each winner must respond to the email by noon Aug. 16 or a runner-up will be selected. Good luck!

Congratulations to the winners! They are lindsaylund and kpeele. Check your emails and get back to me by noon Aug. 16.

If you didn't win I have a giveaway for Stroller Strides going on right now for a 5-Class Pass. http://tinyurl.com/2daupaw

It has taken me 10 months to get to about 5-10 lbs from my prepregnancy weight. Stroller Strides has definitely helped!!

I was heavy when I got pregnant with my first. Now my second child is 2.5 years old I'm down to my initial prepregnancy size, but that's still a 20, so I'd like to go for more. : ) It took me until just after my second child turned 2 to get this far though.

I have lost 50 pounds since delivering twins five weeks ago. I have 15 more pounds to go.

Getting ready for number 2... only lost 5 of 30 from number 1 would love some motivation from a group!

With my first child I somehow lost the baby weight within a few months (I think with the busyness of being a new mom I wasn't eating enough, plus breastfeeding seemed to help). I did take a stroller exercise class and found it very helpful both physically and emotionally.

I'm expecting my second now and have already gained a lot more weight so I'm interested to see how things go this time.

I'm still holding on to about 15 lbs of baby weight. I've been working out a few times a week and they are slowly coming off but working out with other moms would me a great inspiration.

I'm unfortunately holding on to 9 lbs that dont want to come off! I'm so close! I love to run outside, so once the miserable heat starts to fade, I will be ready to hit the pavement! Hopefully, I will start to drop the lbs one by one until they are gone!!

Let me start by stating that I was already about 50 pounds overweight before I even got pregnant. Needless to say, I was extremely concerned about my pregnancy weight gain so I made sure that I took care of myself by eating (mostly) healthy and exercising as my body allowed. The first time that I stepped on a scale was 2 weeks after my daughter was born and I weighed 5 pounds LESS than my pre-pregnancy weight!! Now I just need to lose the other 45 pounds that I had before her!!

My kids are 2 years old already and I am still holding onto it.
