The Friends of the Chapel Hill Public Library will hold a big children's book sale this week to benefit the Chapel Hill Public Library.

The sale is 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and noon to 5 p.m. Thursday. You'll find thousands of books for young kids, along with books for beginning readers to young adults. Many of the books are new or barely used (and don't forget Christmas is only five months away).

You'll find well-used books at four for $1, gently or barely used soft cover books for 50 cents and barely used hard cover books for $1. Gift quality and learning books will start at $1.

The sale will be at the library, 100 Library Dr., in the lobby and in the downstairs conference room.
