Too hot outside? Cool fun at home

It's hot. You're stuck inside. Try these crafts, projects and recipes to cool you down.

Temperatures are expected to climb near 100 degrees today and tomorrow, but WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner says it's going to feel a lot hotter than that.

And I'm guessing it's getting pretty hot in a few houses out there as the kids start climbing the walls ready for something new to do. If you're in the mood for an excursion, there are free movies, storytimes and lots more. Check my post from a few weeks ago for ideas.

Or you could tackle a major household project. That's what I'm doing: baby proofing the house now that the baby in the house can crawl. But that's not really much fun.
