Lynda Loveland: European vacation without the kids

Posted July 21, 2010

Lynda Loveland

Hey everyone! Just a quick post to tell you I'm in Germany and Paris with my mother and my sister. I'm sitting here in my hotel room after a long day at the Palace of Versailles. (By the way, I've taken some fun pics you can see on WRALFM.com, the Bill & Lynda page.) It's a trip we've been talking about for years. It means a lot to all of us.

It's also the longest I've been away from my husband and kids. Lots of emotions associated with that. Lots.

I'll give you all the deets (details) next week. I'm off to make some memories with my mom and sister. Never miss an opportunity to make a memory. Soon, it may be all you have.

Miss you all!

One last thing: My husband is THE MAN for holding down the fort!!!

Lynda is the mom of three and co-host of Mix 101.5 WRAL-FM's Bill & Lynda in the Morning. Find her here on Thursdays.

Have a fun and safe trip...and just remember your husband and kids are making memories too!

I bet that is an amazing trip. I know what you mean about leaving your kids and hubby. I'm planning to be away one night this weekend (so I can visit some college friends) and I'm having a hard time not feeling guilty. But you need that time away, it makes you a better wife and mom.

Enjoy your trip! We just returned from a fantastic trip to Italy...with our sons 9ages 5 and almost 7). We all can't wait to see what passport stamps we get next year.
