Amy McCready got her start helping parents in Raleigh more than six years ago, offering tips and advice on how to correct their children's behaviors without lots of yelling.

McCready's Positive Parenting Solutions has since helped thousands of parents around the world with seminars and programs on everything from morning dawdling to tantrums to sibling rivalry. Two years ago, she developed what's become very popular online courses.
And people have taken notice. McCready, the mom of two boys ages 12 and 14 in Raleigh, has appeared on The Today Show and  MSNBC, among others. She's also a contributor to TodayMoms and had a recent post on ways to stop the "entitlement epidemic."

So I'm thankful McCready took time out of her busy schedule for all of us here at Go Ask Mom. Meet her in this quick video and then check back every Wednesday for the next four weeks where she'll offer advice on bedtime, praise junkies, back talk and allowance. She offers some fantastic advice.
