New book encourages moms to get involved

Posted May 11, 2010

Author and Triangle mom Amy Tiemann has been with us for the last few weeks to talk about her new book "Courageous Parents, Confident Kids."

Today, she's talking about the last segment of her book, which encourages us moms to find our voice in the community.

"It helps us claim our power as parents if we connect with other parents for support and also be willing to raise our voices and talk about things that are important to us," said Tiemann, who also wrote the popular book "Mojo Mom" a few years ago.

Click here for more information about the new book.

And learn more about it by watching this video. Thanks so much Amy for chatting with us for the last month.
