Month of Mom: Win expert bra fitting and bra

Just about every mom can use a little lift. And by lift, in this post, I'm talking about a good bra.

We've all seen the statistics that many of us are all walking around in the wrong-sized bra. And that would be you if the back of your bra is riding up, the straps are falling off and the cups are pushing you up and out of it.

The Bra Patch in north Raleigh is here to help. For years, the store has been a popular place for women to go, especially those who have hard-to-fit sizes (like me). You'll find bras of all kinds, including nursing, mastectomy, sports and fancy.

Full disclosure here: I've been a customer of the Bra Patch for the past ten years or so. But I always buy my own bras and don't get any kind of special treatment.

So in this contest, part of our Month of Mom where we're celebrating mom all month, we've got prizes for two lucky winners: An expert bra fitting and a gift certificate for $75 to the store.

What do you need to do to enter? One or all of the following as usual.

1. Sign up for the Go Ask Mom newsletter by clicking here.

2. Follow @wralmoms on Twitter and retweet about the contest.

3. Answer this question in the comments below: What's your favorite part about being a mom?

Contest ends at noon May 14. Winners will be contacted and must respond by noon May 17 or a runner-up will be selected. The winners' names will be posted on the site.

And in other contest news, I just heard back today from the Beauty and the Beast winner. Am waiting to confirm they want the tickets. I'll post the name once all is confirmed.

My favorite part of being a mom is when my 5 year old son takes the time to cuddle and tell me he loves me. THose moments are getting rarer and rarer as he gets older so I treasure every one of them.

I love seeing my girls smiling faces and the wonderful hugs they give! I love hearing the things they say and come up with and make me laugh.

I can think of nothing more rewarding than seeing the awesome, amazing, delightful human beings that my children have grown in to (now that they are 16 and 12). It is a joy to have interesting conversations with them, hang out and listen to music, see them with their friends. Can you tell I like this stage?

I love it when my 4 year old daughter winks at me and says, "Mommy, you're my best friend forever." I know she probably won't remember that when she's 15, but for now, it just melts my heart.

I love finding out all the new things my son has learned daily. He's just a whirlwind of new knowledge.

My favorite part of being a mom for me is the time that I get to spend with my grown daughter because there is very little of it. So the time that we spend together is even more valuable. She is my best friend and I adore her. She and I share a very special bound even though I didn't give birth to her; I'm actually her step mother but we don't think of each other in that way - we're mother and daughter!

My favorite part about being a Mom is giving my child everything that I never had.

I am the mother of three. Two daughters, ages 30 and 25, and a 15 year old son. We welcomed our first granchild, a boy, 18 months ago. I love being a mom/grandmom because there is no greater joy in the world than nurturing and loving a young person...actually shaping that young mind and soul into a great human being. Being shown love by your child with hugs, kisses, and other expressions is priceless and always leaves me feeling full of happiness. Watching their successes and being sought after for advice is also quite fulfilling. I guess the best word to describe motherhood is ..... WONDERFUL!!!

The best thing about being a mom is watching my little guy grow up. He is only 8 moths, but has made my life complete.
