Toss your Motrin, Tylenol, Benadryl for kids
The products have been recalled in the United States and 11 other countries because they don't meet quality standards.
Posted — UpdatedParents should toss the infant and children's versions of Motrin, Tylenol, Benadryl and Zyrtec following a massive recall from the manufacturer late Friday.
McNeil Consumer Healthcare and the Food and Drug Administration say the products do not meet quality standards and that parents should stop using them.
"Some of the products included in the recall may contain a higher concentration of active ingredient than is specified; others may contain inactive ingredients that may not meet internal testing requirements; and others may contain tiny particles. While the potential for serious medical events is remote, the company advises consumers who have purchased these recalled products to discontinue use."
