The ladies of Kazoom Puppet Theatre experimented with holding an afternoon version of their popular puppet show for toddlers to early grade-schoolers back in March.

It was so popular, they're doing it again. And they're adding a Saturday show with the hopes that they'll see some school-age fans and parents who can't make it for the usual weekday morning shows.

The special shows are at 2 p.m. Wednesday May 5 and 2 p.m. Saturday May 15 at ComedyWorx on Peace Street near its intersection with Glenwood Avenue.

The show is always at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. every Wednesday and Thursday at ComedyWorx (though they were closed this past week). Tickets are $4 for anybody 12 months and up.

You can also find them at the Holly Springs Cultural Center on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m. Tickets for shows there are $5.

Kazoom features puppets, songs, stories and the zany Bartlet, the puppet. Be sure your child brings mail for Bartlet (a picture or note). Mail is read and generally oohed and aahed over during the show.

The story in May will be "The Little Gingerbread Man" with, of course, princesses.
