Kids just amaze me sometimes at what they know. Coming back from the beach, my 5-year-old son gave me a schooling.
I was trying to get a DVD to play, but it was covered with kid fingerprints. Regardless of how many times I tell them to leave the DVD's alone, they manage to muck them up. I wiped it on my shirt. Wouldn’t play. Licked it, than wiped it. Still wouldn’t play. (Wonder what sorta stuff was caked on there).
After giving my kids the business for messing up the DVD, my son, who is not tech savvy, won’t even touch any sort of electronic game, yells from the back seat, “It’s blu-ray!
What? Did my son just say it was a blu-ray? He doesn’t even know what that is! No way could he be right, could he? I almost didn’t want to look, but I had to. And dog-gone it, don’t you know, he WAS right!!!! How is that possible? For one thing, we don’t even own a blu-ray. That disc just came in a special set.
Humble pie anyone??
